Community Science Specialist Water Quality Division Temporary Worker (Open Until Filled)

The Surface Water Quality Improvement Value Stream in the ADEQ Water Quality Division (WQD) is seeking an experienced and qualified student or recent graduate to assist staff members in managing tasks related to coordinating and training community scientists/volunteers in gathering credible water quality data around Arizona. The applicant,  will support ADEQ staff in a variety of tasks associated with AZWW program needs. Applicants should have a  Bachelor’s degree (preferred) obtained or in progress and 1 to 3 years’ experience in natural resources, hydrology, or environmental science (preferred). This position will be paid $15-$18 per hour at 40 hours per week with flexibility for part-time depending on the candidate and depending on need. Please email resumes to smart.meghan@azdeq.gov.
