Nine (9) Colleges and Universities Receive Acceleration Fund Support for their Climate Projects

Cambridge, Massachusetts (April 21, 2022) - Nine (9) colleges and universities have been named as the awardees of the Third Round of the Acceleration Fund. Second Nature, an NGO whose mission it is to accelerate climate action in, and through, higher education, announced the awarded schools during the 2022 Higher Education Climate Leadership Summit.

Researchers at Biosphere 2 will plant coffee trees to celebrate Earth Day

Twenty-five coffee trees will be planted in the Biosphere 2 to help researchers investigate how climate change will affect coffee trees. An Earth Day 5K run will also be held at the research facility.
