The Surface Water Quality Improvement Planning Value Stream in the ADEQ Water Quality Division (WQD) is seeking a recent college graduate or an early career environmental scientist to assist staff members in managing tasks related to alleviating surface water quality impairments in Oak Creek near Sedona and abandoned mine remediation sites in the Bradshaw Mountains near Prescott. This position will be shared between two project managers based in Flagstaff and will support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of watershed improvement and mine remediation projects. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree obtained or in progress and 1 to 3 years’ experience in natural resources, hydrology, or environmental science (preferred). This position will be paid $15-20 per hour at 40 hours per week with flexibility for part-time depending on candidate and need. Please email resumes to muilenberg.natalie@azdeq.gov.
