Marquel Begay Marquel Begay (Diné) is a third-year Ph.D. candidate in the Ecology, Management, and Rangeland Restoration program at the University of Arizona, she focuses her research on using natural and social sciences to inform community-based ecological restoration planning and management for degraded rangeland ecosystems on the Navajo Nation.
