Students who minor in Agribusiness Economics and Management will study agribusiness management, finance, economic theory, natural resource economics, environmental regulation, quantitative techniques, and economic development, both domestic and international, related to agribusiness.

Research Opportunities

Biosphere 2 Biosphere 2 is owned by the University of Arizona and is an Earth systems science research facility that focuses on the Earth, its living systems, and sustainability. The facility is located in northern Tucson and serves as a center for research, outreach, and teaching.

BIO5 Institute The BIO5 Institute is at the leading edge of life sciences research, bringing together researchers from agriculture, medicine, pharmacy, basic science, and engineering. The main goal of BIO5 is to find bold solutions to complex, biology-based challenges affecting humanity.

Yuma Agricultural Center The YAC has two research facilities, one in Yuma and another in Mesa. These facilities include about 200-300 acres of farmland for a diversified range of crops, including cotton, grains, and vegetables. The YAC focuses on research in plant physiology, crop production, insect biology, food safety and several other topics.
