Pine Chant

Join the Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research in collaboration with the Fred Fox School of Music and the School of Art on December 5, 6, and 7 at 7 PM at the Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research on 1215 E Lowell Street.
 

This performance features the world premiere of Pine Chant, a mesmerizing new composition by Australian composer Lachlan Skipworth. Inspired by tree-ring climate data from the Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research, the piece is at once a sonic embodiment of twelve Arizona trees, and an emotional response to the climate crisis.
