Michelle Berry
Assistant Professor, Gender and Women's Studies, SBS; Instructor, History, SBS
Michelle's interests are at the intersections of agriculture, culture, and environment. Her research on both climate and environmental education and on cattle ranching in the arid American West are both interested in how people understand their relationships to the nonhuman and how power is articulated and mediated through ecological relationships (including but not solely labor). Her co-authored book on pedagogical approaches to environmental history was published by Duke University Press and she has a forthcoming manuscript from Oklahoma University Press.
