Wendy Lotze

Adjunct Lecturer, College of Architecture, Planning, & Landscape Architecture

Wendy is an Adjunct Lecturer in the College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture at the University of Arizona. Her academic focus is online education, regional ecology, and cultural landscapes. In professional practice, she focuses on regional GIS planning and recreation design. She also works with the Arizona Trail Association as their Volunteer Coordinator helping to build, maintain and promote the Arizona National Scenic Trail. 

Wendy is a fifth-generation Arizona native, with a life-long passion for exploring and understanding the Sonoran desert and dynamic relationship between human culture and desert ecology. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing from the University of Arizona in 1995 and continues her love affair with the written word through blogging, travel writing and instruction. She received her MLA from the University of Arizona in 2007. In addition, Wendy plays piano, works in leaded glass and advocates for homeless pets.
